Welcome to the beginning of your child’s academic journey at Trinity Classical Academy! Kindergarten is the first step in our Grammar Stage, where young minds begin to build strong foundations through memorization, discovery, and delight in learning.

Kindergarten at Trinity
-
Students are immersed daily in a blend of wonder, growth, and structure through bible, math, phonics, history, and enrichment programs.
-
Bible
We treat Scripture not just as lessons, but as stories full of meaning. Students explore major Old Testament narratives, learn God’s character, and begin to see His plan woven through history and the world around them.Math
We use the Saxon Math 1 curriculum with a “three steps forward, two back” rhythm. This ensures past concepts aren’t forgotten and builds mastery in computation and problem-solving.Reading & Phonics
Reading is foundational. Through the Veritas Phonics Museum, students learn to decode and read with confidence. Handwriting, sight words, and reading comprehension are introduced in incremental and manageable steps.History & Geography
We introduce timelines, geography, and both secular and church history. Children learn about their own community, nations of the world, and the stories that shaped our culture and faith. -
At Trinity Classical Academy, our teaching approach is rooted in the classical model and shaped by a Christ-centered worldview. In Kindergarten, we nurture wonder and curiosity while building strong academic foundations through joyful, structured lessons and hands-on discovery. Teachers guide students with patience and clarity, encouraging them to ask questions, memorize with delight, and develop habits of attentiveness, respect, and perseverance. Every subject points students to God’s truth, cultivating both knowledge and character from the very first day of school.
